Moin!
Just for information: i'm running this instance on a Raspberry 4 / 4 GB RAM. I was on the RC without any problems for weeks. Since I've upgraded today to the new stable, my Raspberry has a lot of performance issues. Directly after the update to Stable, the RAM-consumption is at nearly at 3.5 GiB. Continuously. I don't know if you need the information - I just wanted you to know. I'll monitor that and inform you as soon I've found a solution or the behavior of my Raspi will be fine again. ;-)

@Marc @Tobias said there is problems on his Pi too.

Can you check what is happening, like the which process is using the ram?

Als Antwort auf Marc

Umm. But there's no difference between the release candidate and the released 2021.01. 🤔
Als Antwort auf Steffen K9 🐰

@Steffen K9 🐰 that depends how long back the RC was dated.

@Marc I see your postupdate version is different from mine on /friendica

Well, he said...

> was on the RC without any problems for weeks

So I assumed he was on the latest/current RC code. But my assumption was wrong, apparently.

@Steffen K9 🐰 also remember Tobias, I was not expecting the release to happen because that sounded like a blocking reason for me.
Als Antwort auf Marc

I' ve changed from stable to RC two or three weeks ago.
It's funny now, because my Raspberry changed to normal behavior. RAM consumption now is normal. Load-Av. is at 1.22, 2.42 and 9.88. RAM-consumption is at aprox. 800 MiB.
Sorry to bother you. Everything seems to be fine now.
@Tobias has a Raspi 3, if I remember correctly? Maybe his Rasbi needs more time to settle up the changes ?
Als Antwort auf Marc

@Marc probably a 3B, you're right.

And yes, most likely there was some update task running.

You are absolutley right. I've just needed more patience. ;-) Everthing is fine now.

Since the update to 2021.01 around 6 pm I'm seeing higher load when "bin/worker" is running. Can this be related to the postupdate process you mentioned as well?

Die Datenbankversion ist 1384/1384 und die Post-Update-Version 1383/1383

I will observe further. As I assume from the numbers that everything is finished?!

@Michael Vogel assuming that postupdate versions are supposed to be unequal number (why ever?), there is still updates running on @Martin Winkler server.

@Michael Vogel if everything is finished there, then I am partly in the future. And my server is not the only one with that version, also here for example.

The database version is 1384/1384, the post update version is 1383/1384.

@Michael Vogel yes, for a few weeks now. :-P

Edit: didn't think about it before, but 1383/1384 even suggests that the update is not done when it is finally done. :-)

Took ~11h on my raspi 4B 4GB until it went back to normal.

Yes, it's fine now. I use cron to call the worker every 28 min.

@Michael Vogel just to be sure. Different numbers are OK, but they should the same numbers as I posted before or as in friendica.utzer.de/friendica , right?
